Paula Waldman de Tokman, Math Teacher, is coauthor of the book Mathematical Studies SL, Approach your exams the IB way. This book contains lots of information to help students prepare for their IB exams. It includes useful advice on how to approach exam questions and main recommendations that teachers from all around the world have identified as key advice for IB Mathematical Studies.
Paula Waldman graduated in 1991 from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) with a degree in High School and University/College Teacher of Mathematics. Since 2005 she has been a Mathematics teacher at St. Andrew's Scots School in Years 10, and 11 and 12, preparing her students for the IGCSE and for the Mathematics SL examinations respectively.
Since 1989 she has been teaching in the Basic Common Cycle (CBC) UBA different subjects such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Advanced Calculus and Calculus for Economics Science.
Paula has been an IB examiner for Mathematical Studies since 1999 and a Deputy Chief Examiner since 2004. She has also co-written the book Mathematical Studies Course Companion for the IB Diploma Programme.
