On Saturday 26th March , at 8.30 pm, people around the world will switch off their lights for 1 hour. The idea is that when the lights go back on we can all think about how we can make a change in our daily lives that will help protect the environment. We ask all of the Saint Andrew's community to take part in this important global display of climate action.
Since it started in Sydney in 2007 (with 2.2 million individuals turning off their lights) there are now 128 countries involved. Please take action and pledge your commitment to participate by clicking on the light bulb on the Earth Hour website: http://www.earthhour.org/Homepage.aspx?intro=no
