The title for this year’s entries was “Words are not Enough”, and the speeches presented by the candidates were wide ranging and diverse in their interpretation. Congratulations to all those who took part, and especially to Ary Attie, with his excellent speech on the danger of global warming, and of course to the winner Andy Binker Cosen, whose speech “Incommunicado”, warns us all about the decline of interpersonal communications in a digital age. He represented the school at the English Speaking Union Public Speaking Competition on April 27th at the British Embassy. The full text of these two winning speeches will be published in the next edition of The Voice.
Special thanks to all the teachers who helped organized this event, Connie Bellocq, Cecilia Weber, Ignacio Barranechea and Juan Nascimbene.
