I'm a doctor
In the Bears' class we have been learning about different Community Helpers and we started with “ the doctor”.

We invited Lautaro’s mother who came to school to talk about her job.

She told the children about the importance of looking after the body especially the eyes as she is an ophthalmologist. She brought a special paper, the “return of vision”, that the ophthalmologists have in their surgery room and a plastic eye to look at.

After explaining to the children the importance of the eye and how to look after the eyes, she passed the plastic one around and they were able to touch it and look at it carefully.

Then she gave them time for questions and answers. It was very interesting to hear what the children were asking and also the comments and doubts they shared within the group.

Thank you very much Lauti for sharing your mum with us and Analía for your time!
