Old Mc Donald had a farm
Olivos 3 year old groups visited the farm!

The Puppies and the Bunnies have been learning about farm animals. To enrich the topic, the children carried out many interesting activities, like dramatizing songs and making puppets. But most importantly, we visited a real farm! The children were very excited to go and eager to get to know the real animals.

As soon as we arrived, a guide introduced herself and we went straight to the kitchen to prepare bread. She showed us the ingredients, gave out a bit of dough to each child and they were able to knead for a while. We were told that it was important to knead the dough with love, so we did with a big smile on our faces and used our cheeks and chins as well as our hands!

When the bread was in the oven, the children and the teachers followed the guide and started walking around the farm. There was a lovely vegetable garden with different plants and crops. Then they were able to see many different farm animals such as cows, horses, a donkey, ducks, hens, pigs, chicks and goats.

What the children enjoyed the most was being able to feed some of those animals!

They were very happy with the outing and they had a lovely time!

Thank you mummies for sharing this outing with us!

You can see more of the farm in our Photo Gallery!!
