“Out of the mouth of babes” (Matthew 21)
Olivos Kindergarten makes a presentation on their R-R-R work for Year 9 and Year 11 students

It's never too early to start learning how to look after our planet, and the Olivos Kindergarten students have been working on Recycling - Reusing - Reducing for nearly five years already.

On November 2nd the Whales, Tigers and Pandas from K5 crossed over to the Secondary Hall to show a Powerpoint presentation on all the work they do to sustain this programme: collecting bottle tops and paper for the Garrahan Hospital and preselecting recyclable rubbish for the Cooperativa El Ceibo. They then answered questions put to them by the Year 11 students and their conviction and self-confidence shone through as they presented their ideas with poise and ease. They then sang “Heal the World” to bring this very special Assembly to an end.

We are certainly on the way to healing the world, if these young students carry on along this path!
