We are delighted to announce that St Andrew’s won the 2012 ESSARP Mathematics Competition.
There were three categories to the competition and the results were as follows:
· Fernando Bellora and Nicolás Kuyumciyan came second in the Senior category.
· Tadeo Casiraghi and Mateo Navarro Goldaraz came sixth in the Intermediate category. (However, it must be noted that Tadeo and Mateo are in Year 9 and were competing against Year 10 students from other schools. Our Year 10 students could not take part as they were doing their IGCSE Mock exams.)
· Santiago Bugallo and Alejo Navarro Goldaraz came first in the Junior category.
The combined results meant that St. Andrew’s won the competition with 91 points which was 10 points clear of the second placed school.
Congratulations to all the students who took part.
