The 5 year olds went to visit the zoo Olivos kindergarten
On the same day they were celebrating the 124th anniversary of the Zoo founded by Domingo Faustino Sarmiento!

Our first visit to the zoo was postponed due to bad weather and when we finally got there, the temperature was high so children had to tour around the zoo with caps, sunscreen and a bottle of fresh water. Nothing could take away their excitement!

After learning about "Animals in danger of extinction" the purpose of the visit was not only to see the different animals but to put special focus on those animals which need to be preserved from hunting or weather changes so as not to disappear completely from the planet.

As soon as we arrived, the guide walked us around the zoo telling us very interesting things about the impact of mankind and global warming on animals habitat that led to future extinction of different species.

We were able to see the “ condor”, elephants, tigers, lions, orangutans, chimpanzees, lemurs, guacamayos, aguara guazús, yaguaretes and many others.

We would like to specially thank all the mothers from the Pandas, Tigers and Whales class who came to the zoo and shared the visit with us!
